Fidel Cardenas - General Repair Diesel Engine Specialist
Becoming ASE certified in 1997, with a proficiency in: A5 Brakes, A6 Electrical / Electronic System , A7 Heating & Air Conditioning , A8 Engine Performance Pablo began working in Vista, California. However, not being satisfied with basic car repair Pablo quickly moved on to learning the advance level engine performance. In 1998 Pablo attained his Smog Technician Certification as well as the L1 Automotive Advance Engine Performance certification. During these 3 year tenure Pablo applied the theory he learned in the classroom to the everyday practical problems. In 2000, he moved to Midway Mobil in Escondido as the Lead Smog Technician. Within 1 year he was promoted to Shop Manager and spent over 11 years building his reputation and client base. In early 2011 Pablo was offered a position working for California Autohaus in Encinitas, CA, where he further sharpened his skills adding Land Rover, BMW, and Merced-Benz to the list of repair specialization's as well as earning his T1 Gasolines Engine for Medium / Heavy Truck, and T6 Electrical / Electronic System for Medium / Heavy Trucks certification. In early 2013 Pablo Cardenas decided to open up his own repair location, and Cardenas Auto Repair was born!
Becoming certified with the Mexican equivalent of an ASE certification from Escula Cedra, Fidel began working on cars in 1999 in Morelia, Miochacan. In 2001 Fidel earned his certification that allowed him to work on Diesel Vehicles. From 2001 to 2007 Fidel gained certification in Fuel Injection, Brakes, Air Conditioning, and Engine Performance. Fidel Specialized in Toyota, Chrysler, and Chevrolet Vehicles. During his tenure in Mexico, Fidel began to gain a taste for the theory behind Vehicle Repair and from 2007 to 2011 gained his Bachelor of Science in Automotive Repair from ESIA (Escuela Superior De Ingenieria Automotriz). After which time he focused predominately on teaching automotive repair to younger pupils. In early, 2013 Fidel moved himself and his family to North County San Diego in search of the American Dream.
